it was in Auschwitz,he used the excuse of needing her as his maid.It was very common officers have jewish maids (they usually raped and beated the women and then they ended up killing these women),it was more like slaves for them.He saved alot of people with this excuse of needing people to work for him and for german families (people from resistense).
