Inability to recognize that "equal" does not mean "same".
I hate this argument. It's the argument that says that men don't need abortions, so women don't need them either. Or that everyone has the right to marry the opposite sex, so why do gay people need "special" rights. It's used to justify any racist, sexist, homophobic, classist, ageist, ablist action (or more often, inaction) that hurts the marginalized. If health insurance didn't cover testicular cancer for anyone, would that be equally unfair to everyone, or would that be a gendered problem? Case in point. Laws and institutions need to treat people equally in spirit, according to their specific needs, because the world is not all male-bodied, able-bodied, etc.
